THE APPLE BODY SHAPE
We all have a specific shape to our bodies. There are at least 12 different known body shapes. In this post I will talk about the apple shape and give two other examples to compare. What body shape do you have?
There are several different body shapes for women. Below is the apple shape, pear shape and hourglass. Do you have one of these shapes?

Pear Shape: Your hip section will be wider than your upper body and your waist is a bit narrower.

Let’s talk about the apple shape
It is said that a woman’s waist should be around 35 inches. You must work hard to achieve a waist around 35 inches. Some ways to achieve 35 inches is to eat right, do cardio and strength training. You will need to also do some spot training on your stomach area. Now, don’t think it will get flat overnight. It will take weeks and weeks to achieve your result. But you must be diligent about it. That means do not give up for anything or anyone. This is for you, and you are worth it.
It is important to get rid of that fat around your belly because according to Harvard Health Publications, the problem with the apple shape is that stomach fat. It is mostly visceral fat, and it surrounds the organs in the torso (stomach). So, if you have stomach fat, let’s make a deal to get rid of it.
What to Wear
Tops:
It is important to draw attention away from your stomach and more to your bust. So, wear V-necks, plunging necklines, scoop or strapless tops. However, it is not a good idea to wear tops that are off-the shoulder cut or high necklines. It will make your shoulders look broader.
Bottoms
Your bottom may look a little flat, so be sure to wear pants with back pockets. Also, wear denims, trouser cut, wide-legs or boot cut. Avoid attention to the front of your pants like shinny designs.
Skirts
Wear a skirt that has an A-line or a full circle skirt. Do not wear skirts that are too tight around your waist.
Dresses
Wear dresses that have an A-line or a continuous pattern on it. Remember to draw attention away from your waist. So, do not wear dresses with a built-in waistline.

How to exercise
Weight training and cardio workouts are highly recommended. You can also do some jogging, cycling and even walking will help. Go on Google and/or YouTube to get training sessions.

If you are overweight and want to get in shape, you must eat healthy foods and exercise at least one hour 3-4 times a week. Find ways to fight hunger when it comes. Drink lots of water. Find fun activities that will take your mind off food. Create a goal (small goal), like losing 5 lbs. in one month. Reaching your goal helps to keep you motivated. You know your limits, so you set them. Get a new mindset about losing weight and getting in shape.
Can I change my apple body type?
Yes, I believe you can change your body type. It will take diligence, but it can be done. If you want an hourglass shape, find out what diet and exercises are needed to have the hourglass shape and do it. You should start to see changes in your body within 4-6 weeks.
What should I eat?
I have learned that cutting way back or even stopping with the sugar is the best thing you can do as far as losing weight. In addition, reducing and/or cutting out bad carbs too. Do your research so you can know exactly what you need to eliminate from your diet and what you need to add such as greener leafy vegetables.
To sum it up, becoming healthy is a lifestyle. This means eating healthy and exercising will become your way of life forever. You will look better, feel better, feel stronger and live longer.
